About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Google. As a key member of our Technical Infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for our cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on code quality and best practices.
  • Triage and debug product or system issues, analyzing sources and impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with software development in C++ or Python programming languages, and experience with data structures/algorithms.
  • 3+ years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1+ year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 1+ year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
