About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Google. As a key member of our cloud computing team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying large-scale cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable cloud-based systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud computing and distributed systems
  • 3+ years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products
  • 1+ year of experience in software design and architecture
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1+ year of experience in a technical leadership role
  • Experience developing accessible technologies
  • Experience programming in Go language
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes development, cloud platforms, and/or on-premises environments
