About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a remarkable customer experience.
  • Operate a cash register, accurately processing transactions and handling cash, checks, and credit cards.
  • Maintain inventory levels, ordering from approved vendors and monitoring stock to maximize turnover and minimize waste.
  • Assist with balancing cash drawers and reconciling cash and register documentation.
  • Participate in inventory level analysis and communicate with vendors to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months of retail experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively greet, interact, and communicate with customers, patients, and Health System employees.
  • Ability to understand instructions and provide positive, service-focused communication with customers.
  • Ability to perform calculations, including receiving cash and providing change for customers.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to concurrently perform and prioritize multiple tasks while coping with frequent interruptions.
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to stand, bend, and walk for up to 100% of work time. The ability to lift at least 50 pounds from floor to shoulder is also required.
