Job Title: Respiratory Nurse - Med Surg Unit

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Nurse to join our team at Jefferson Hospital, a Magnet recognized facility for nursing excellence. As a Respiratory Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care on our 32-bed Med Surg unit, specializing in tracheostomy care, chest tubes, and high need oxygenation.

About the Role:
  • Assess and plan patient care for individuals with respiratory and medical surgical needs
  • Implement and evaluate nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction programs

Requirements:
  • Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
  • CPR certification
