About the Role

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Deposit and Treasury Management Sales Specialist. As a key member of our Private Bank team, you will play a critical role in generating new business and deepening existing relationships with high net worth individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert sales and product knowledge to private banker teams to assist in retaining and generating new banking depository and treasury management business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including CFOs, CEOs, Controllers, Treasurers, and Accounting Staff.
  • Employ a consultative sales approach to understand clients' business needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of clients' liquidity and rate environments to provide expert advice and guidance.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic business development initiatives.
  • Nurture and deepen existing client relationships through regular communication and relationship-building activities.
  • Conduct regular portfolio and client relationship reviews to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present competitor statement analyses and product proposals to clients.
  • Travel to Citi offices within your designated coverage area to meet with clients and colleagues.
  • Support the proposal and RFP bidding processes.
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, enhancements, and industry developments to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in treasury management, banking, and client interfacing.
  • Previous experience as an implementation manager, sales associate, or sales specialist in Private Banking/Wealth Management is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury management products, banking, and the client sales cycle.
  • Experience working with financial firms, real estate, family offices, and private equity firms is highly desirable.
  • Ability to structure and position depository solutions.
  • High degree of professionalism, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent consultative selling and negotiation ability.
  • Attention to detail and consistent follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce CRM, internet applications, and pipeline reporting systems.

Citigroup Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $250,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs. We also offer paid time off packages, including planned time off (vacation), unplanned time off (sick leave), and paid holidays.
