Senior Transportation Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Planner to lead our efforts in crafting innovative transportation solutions for the City of Sammamish. As a key member of our Public Works team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our city's transportation infrastructure.

• Develop and implement comprehensive transportation plans that align with the city's growth and development goals.
• Collaborate with regional partners to advance transportation policy and planning initiatives.
• Lead the development of long-range transportation plans and policy documents.
• Analyze complex transportation data and make recommendations to inform decision-making.
• Provide technical input to engineering and planning staff to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree in urban or regional planning, urban studies, environmental planning, or public administration.
• At least six years of experience in transportation planning, including one year in a supervisory role.
• Certified as an American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification for Transportation Planners or designation as a Professional Transportation Planner from the Transportation Professional Certification Board, Inc.
