Job Summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Assistant Director of Cardiac Cath Lab. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab department, including staff supervision, patient care, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, The Joint Commission, and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with physicians, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field (preferred).
  • Current state or compact nursing license, BSN required or enrolled within 6 months.
  • BCLS certification.
  • Any other certifications required for staff nurses in the area managed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills.
  • Ability to use computer-driven patient care equipment.
