Cardiac Cath Lab Assistant Director

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Assistant Director Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in nursing leadership and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Job SummaryThe Assistant Director Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab department, ensuring that all patients receive exceptional care and that the department runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab department, including supervising staff and coordinating patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, including training and development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, The Joint Commission, and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Current state or compact nursing license.
- BSN required or enrolled within 6 months.
- BCLS certification.
- Any other certifications staff nurses in area managed are required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills.
- Ability to use computer-driven patient care equipment.
