About the Role

Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Group Therapist to join our team. As an Inpatient Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing social services to clients, enabling them to access therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention, short and/or long-term family therapy, group therapy, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
  • Assist clients in meeting their bio-psycho-social needs.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct case management of consumers' internal and external support systems.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • Experience in conducting group therapy.
  • LPC/LSW licensure required; LCPC/LCSW preferred.
  • Strong skills in empathy, time management, psychotherapy, and organizational skills.
