Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our mechanical engineering team and client relationships/project management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical discipline at the project level, managing project budgets, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the mechanical discipline at the project level, managing project budgets and overseeing work on a wide range of projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, handling multiple complex tasks, setting priorities, and guiding the work of others.
  • Manage the workflow and performance of design and engineering support staff, from entry-level to senior, to meet client expectations and achieve project objectives.
  • Serve as the mechanical discipline's primary point of contact for clients, other disciplines, and pre-construction services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or a Bachelor's in Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical focus).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in a design firm environment, is required for the Senior role.
  • Professional Registration (Licensure) is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Proficiency in discipline-specific software is required.
  • LEED, WELL, or other sustainable design accreditation is preferred.
