We're seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Barrington, RI, where you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a meaningful impact on their lives.
As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you'll be responsible for conducting individual, family, or group therapy sessions, developing and coordinating clinical treatment programs, and providing psychological assessments and interpretations.
You'll also have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, and to participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, family, or group therapy sessions based on ethical and medical necessity guidelines
- Develop and coordinate clinical treatment programs for the diagnosis, treatment, or referral of patients presenting mental health conditions
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results
- Involve patient and/or family in treatment planning as appropriate
- Lead crisis intervention methods and provide insight into the development of functional assessments and behavioral intervention plans
- Complete clinical documentation according to policy
Required Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted (PhD, PsyD) license in the state of practice
- 2+ years of experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and groups
- Ability to commute to the location in-person
Preferred Qualifications:
- Comfortable working with a wide range of clinical presentations
- Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EMRs)
- Significant experience evaluating adults and/or children in an outpatient clinical setting
- Comfortable completing diagnostic assessments, general psychiatric testing, and providing direct therapy in an outpatient clinical setting
- Knowledge and experience in providing neuropsychological, CBT, and other evidence-based interventions
- Experience with health psychology
- Ability to represent the practice in community presentations and lectures, if desired
Rhode Island Residents Only:
The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
