This position is part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team, supporting the F-35 Program at our Ghedi, AB, Italy location.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a technical interface to the on-site customer, resolving issues arising from maintenance and modification activities for all matters dealing with the F-35 aircraft.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and analysis of Vehicle Systems (VS), Avionics/Mission Systems (MS), or Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures.
- Collaborate with the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team to ensure effective support of the F-35 Program.
- 7 years total military aircraft experience with a minimum of 4 years APG/Vehicle Systems (VS).
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- F-35 or F-22 aircraft experience.
- SLO / LO experience.
- Previous Field Service Engineer (FSE) experience.
- Fault Isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level.
- Technical report writing skills.
- Experience with drawing/schematics reading and interpretation.
- Experience with Engineering tools to include but not limited to PDM, VAS, JEDI, JARVIS and CRE.
- Knowledge of CATIA & System/Software Engineering Environment (S/SEE).
- Airframe & Power plant (A&P) license.
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Other Important Information- This position is part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team.
- The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
