Quality Technician Role Overview

As a Quality Technician at Path Engineering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all quality goals are met through operational and analytical focus, defect detection, and corrective/preventative action.

This role involves promoting the maintenance of food safety and quality programs, reporting any deviations in quality processes, and supporting the maintenance of SQF certification. You will work closely with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues, and provide training and guidance to ensure that all employees understand the importance of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality goals are met through operational and analytical focus, defect detection, and corrective/preventative action.
  • Promote the maintenance of food safety and quality programs.
  • Report any deviations in quality processes.
  • Support the maintenance of SQF certification.
  • Work closely with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure that all employees understand the importance of quality.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and/or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of industry experience in quality systems.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Quality Control Data Analysis, Continuous Improvement, and Quality Inspection.
