Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Restoration Field Specialist is to be the first point of contact for property owners in need of assistance. This role involves reaching out, scheduling appointments, and meeting with clients to evaluate the damage, acting as the liaison between the potential client and UWRG branch management. The Restoration Field Specialist guides customers through the necessary steps to initiate the restoration process. This position also includes designing, implementing, and overseeing the extraction, drying, demolition, and cleaning processes in accordance with the IICRC S500 standard of care.

As the backbone of UWRG, Technicians represent our company to clients and insurance representatives in the field. A successful Restoration Field Specialist is driven by a commitment to customer care and restoring properties to a condition that exceeds their pre-incident state. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prioritize maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Exhibit kindness, courtesy, and empathy towards customers at all times.
  • Support UWRG colleagues in achieving their best performance; we are a collaborative team.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries by scheduling meetings to assess the situation and damage.
  • Provide clients with a clear and transparent overview of the remediation process and secure a signed contract for United Water Restoration services.
  • Implement S500 standards to efficiently remediate water and/or fire damage.
  • Assist customers in navigating the insurance approval process for demolition.
  • Utilize proper containment methods to safeguard unaffected areas, residents, and pets from hazards during demolition and/or microbial contamination.
  • Monitor job progress daily, maintaining contact and following up with homeowners/business owners for scheduled appointments.
  • Keep accurate job notes daily, including uploading photos, moisture readings, clean-up records, and progress notes to UWRG's internal CRM system.
  • Be available for on-call duties during evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule, as we operate 24/7/365.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Other Duties:

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the Water/Fire/Mold Restoration industry is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a field technician.
  • Pass a respirator use fitness physical; ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • IICRC Certifications Required: WRT, ASD, FSRT Remediation Technician. Training available for the right candidate.
  • Must pass a background check, drug screening, and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated ambition and potential for growth in knowledge, responsibility, and accountability as the company expands.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary ranging from $22 to $26 per hour, plus overtime and on-call bonuses, based on experience.
