Position Overview:

In the role of Cyber Security Consultant at Sogeti, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the integrity and resilience of our clients' IT frameworks. Your responsibilities will encompass the formulation, development, and documentation of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) strategies, coordinating drills, and aiding in the lifecycle management of DR/BC initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity (DR/BC): Develop and document DR/BC strategies, coordinate exercises to validate their effectiveness, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of these efforts.
  • Vulnerability Management: Collaborate with system and application owners to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, employing tools such as Rapid7 and ServiceNow Vulnerability Management.
  • Cloud Security: Partner with cloud account owners to address security findings and establish rigorous standards for cloud environments, ensuring compliance with business requirements.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular assessments to identify vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Security Architecture Design: Create security architectures that align with business needs while adhering to industry standards.
  • Incident Response: Formulate and execute incident response plans to effectively manage security breaches.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and conduct regular security audits.

Areas of Expertise:

  • Extensive knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their security features.
  • Proficiency in security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Understanding of emerging threats and attack vectors in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with security tools including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Rapid7 and ServiceNow Vulnerability Management.
  • Experience with Lacework or similar cloud security tools.
