Position Overview:
The Cashier plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service as patrons enter and exit the retail environment. This part-time position requires adaptability to work primarily during evening hours and on a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Welcome customers upon their arrival at the store, addressing any inquiries related to customer service.
2. Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and direct them as necessary.
3. Process customer transactions efficiently using the KCX cash register system.
4. Ensure precise cash handling and maintain accurate financial records.
5. Assist in pricing merchandise as directed by management.
6. Restock shelves with merchandise as needed, following store management requests.
7. Facilitate customer returns in accordance with store policies.
