Infusion Therapy RN
As a Registered Nurse on our Pediatric Infusion/Chemotherapy team, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment. Your days will be filled with a variety of challenges and rewards, as you work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
A typical day may begin with a pre-rounding session, where you review patient charts, assess medication orders, and prepare for visits with oncology teams. You may then spend time assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is key, as you work together to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
Throughout the day, you will also provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. Accurate and timely documentation is crucial, as you maintain records and adhere to regulatory requirements and standards of practice. Quality improvement initiatives are also an essential part of your role, as you identify areas for enhancement and contribute to process improvements.
You will work closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals, including oncologists, pharmacists, social workers, and child life specialists, to provide comprehensive care that addresses the unique needs of each patient. Our team values your expertise and enthusiasm, and is committed to supporting your growth and development through ongoing education and training opportunities.
We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan. If you are a motivated and caring professional looking for a new challenge, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity today
