Key Responsibilities:Leadership:- Serve as a role model for MNGI's expectations for culture of caring in accordance with the behavior standards policy.
- Day to Day Clinical Oversight of the ASC:
- As directed by the Endoscopy Nurse Manager- support, implement and evaluate change.
- Manage daily patient flow including communication with intradisciplinary groups, site breaktime expectations and patient related priorities/concerns.
- Direct staff during ASC related emergencies ensuring compliance with company policy and Department of Health regulations.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and collaborates with Endoscopy Nurse Manager and Site Administrative Director to update policies as needed.
- Maintain professional communication with management regarding staff, provider, patient and building concerns in a timely and concise manner.
- Ensure consistency of site operations whenever possible. Collaborates with colleagues at different locations to provide consistency.
- Identify and request site resource needs including equipment, materials and staff as needed.
- Responsible for contacting appropriate department/vendor when equipment issues present - ensuring efficient use of company resources.
- Collaborates with ordering team and management to ensure adequate inventory, vendor, and supply maintenance.
- Recommend best practice to improve clinical care and company performance.
- Ensures compliance with infection prevention policies and processes - advocating, promoting, and monitoring on-going recommendations for the Infection Prevention Committee.
- Supports the site Quality Committee members in developing and implementing quality initiatives.
- Organize and conduct charge nurse meetings and huddles with a goal to enhance communication, staff input and engagement.
- Serves as a resource for staff.
- Work with Staffing Coordinator in accordance with optimal staffing, standardized guidelines, and help project staffing needs.
- Encourage two-way communication between self and staff; building rapport and trusting relationships with staff; engaging staff in process improvements.
- Promote a Culture of Caring through leadership, interactions, and staff behavioral expectations - mirroring our Core Values in creating a welcoming environment for visiting staff and fostering a safe and professionally satisfying work environment.

- Maintains technical knowledge by attending leadership development courses and implementing best practice to support standardization and process improvements.
- Perform nursing duties in direct patient care per Endoscopy Registered Nurse Job description.
- Fulfillment of charge nurse shifts at additional sites as needed to support MNGI's business needs (including holiday weeks).
- Support Endo Managers with administrative tasks, checklists, and audits as delegated.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:- Associates Degree is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- 2-3 years of leadership experience is preferred.
- Current license as Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota is required.
- ACLS/PALS certification is required. Ability to gain certification will be provided through MNGI, must be completed within 6 months of start date.

The employee may be required to travel by automobile and exposed to changing weather conditions while performing the duties of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be alert to conditions that may impact the safety of patients, employees and visitors.
