Job Title: Security Shift Supervisor

Marksman Security Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Shift Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Security Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing site activity within a designated geographical area. This includes conducting routine inspections and audits of security personnel to ensure proper implementation of security procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personnel Supervision:
    • Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to inspect and coach security officers.
    • Ensure officers perform all aspects of their assignments as per site post orders and standard operating procedures.
    • Ensure officers properly fill out all necessary paperwork, including time sheets, daily activity reports, and incident reports.
    • Assist in creating and managing the work schedule for security staff.
    • Ensure all work shifts are covered and required contract hours are met.
    • Counsel security staff as needed and directed by management.
    • Conduct inspections and report findings to management.
    • Train new officers when assigned to the site.
    • Provide management with personnel recommendations as needed.
    • Ensure time sheets and other logs are properly filled out by officers.
    • Investigate any reported payroll or time discrepancies as needed.
  • Security Functions:
    • Must be able to properly and efficiently perform all essential job duties of site security officers under supervision.
    • Must be able to utilize all essential security equipment approved for use on site.
    • Stand post and provide site coverage when needed.
    • Interact with client contacts in a professional manner.
    • Report incidents to Marksman management.
    • Document and report any on-site injuries to local branch.
    • Submit a weekly report on site activity to the local branch as requested.
Qualifications:
  • At least 21 years of age or older.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Level II Noncommissioned security license via TOPS - REQUIRED.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving history.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Desire to develop, motivate, and train others under a decentralized model.
  • Previous CCTV, intermediate fire panel, and other emergency system experience required.
  • Two years previous Security, Law Enforcement, and/or Military experience required.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods.
