Position Summary
Under the supervision of a licensed provider, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient care. This role involves prescribing medications, monitoring vital signs, and conducting diagnostic tests to identify the underlying causes of patient symptoms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and collect relevant medical history.
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with the supervising provider to prescribe and implement treatment plans.
  • Track patient progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on optimal health practices and home care.
  • Provide guidance on preventive health measures and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain and update patient medical records diligently.
  • Refer patients to specialists when required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice in Texas.
  • Active and unrestricted Board Certification.
  • Valid DEA registration.
