Licensed Vocational Nurse, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care to inmates/patients, collaborating with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care to inmates/patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct health assessments and provide education to patients on health-related topics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Valid, active license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in California.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
