We are seeking to hire a Power Systems Engineer to join our team, focusing on Power Generation support.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Power Generation as they relate to advanced radar systems.
This role includes providing expert guidance to personnel in establishing effective operation, maintenance, and inspection protocols for Power Generation systems.
This position will be based in a designated location, with the expectation of travel for project assignments, including potential deployments to various sites both domestically and internationally.
The candidate must be prepared to meet all travel requirements, including passing necessary physical evaluations for specific assignments.
Key Responsibilities:1. Investigate equipment malfunctions to identify root causes and recommend corrective measures.
2. Analyze technical data, including engineering specifications, and suggest updates to relevant documentation.
3. Assist in planning and supporting maintenance activities, including independent evaluations and inspections related to Power Generation operations.
4. Provide mentorship and technical support to field teams.5. Adhere to established engineering practices and documentation standards while delivering support.
Learning Opportunities:
1. Gain insights into site operations related to Power Generation.
2. Contribute to mission-critical initiatives in the Oil and Gas sector.
Required Qualifications:
1. Active and transferable security clearance is mandatory prior to employment.
2. Minimum of five years of experience in troubleshooting and operational assessments of Power Generation systems, with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
3. A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
4. Experience with various types of diesel generators and familiarity with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Proven track record of excellence in previous roles.
2. Strong skills in technical writing and verbal communication.
3. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
4. Experience in logistics and knowledge of advanced systems.
5. Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office applications.
