PNC Financial Services Group is seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Review Advisor Senior to join our team in Commercial Lending. As a key member of our Independent Risk Management organization, you will be responsible for conducting timely and independent assessments of PNC's credit exposures and credit risk.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze file review activities for assigned business segment and execute file review assessments on complex credit and credit-related transactions.
- Correlate industry, economic, regulatory, and other trends in the credit cycle to provide expert insight and findings in the credit review assessment.
- Analyze complex credit facility structures and underwriting processes within the context of credit policies, validating scorecard risk ratings, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure understanding of portfolio issues, trends, and root causes to manage credit portfolios effectively and analyze risk in assigned credit portfolios by reviewing relevant reporting and assessing trends.
- Provide expert analytical insight and assess the risk organization's sufficiency to identify and manage forward-looking risks, identifying risk concentrations, systemic trends, or issues.
- Complete work papers, issue tracking, and follow up on exam findings, participating in continuous monitoring for assigned portfolios and supervising and mentoring undergraduate interns and rotational program associates.
- Robust credit knowledge and strong experience related to Commercial credit extension and management.
- 10-15+ years of Credit Risk/Credit Underwriting experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations, are critical to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
