Job Overview:

Position Summary: The Product Applications Specialist is tasked with conducting thorough evaluations of Nextracker's offerings and their related methodologies.

  • Demonstrated capability to adhere to management guidance and tackle intricate challenges throughout all phases of testing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Form-Fit Function assessments, encompassing data gathering and report creation.
  • Employ measurement instruments such as tape measures and calipers.
  • Support projects and experimental setups in the research and development area.
  • Execute testing in designated areas or at project locations while gathering pertinent data.
  • Supervise all testing and construction tasks related to evaluations.
  • Examine individual product components and assemble sections of innovative products in the testing area.
  • Occasionally visit vendor and project locations as required.
  • Deliver customer service and assistance in a dynamic setting.
  • Validate new designs and components from emerging suppliers.
  • Review installation guides and procedures to ensure adherence to product standards.
  • Reproduce customer-reported issues in the research and development area for diagnostic purposes.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Coordinate requirements and priorities across various teams.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in product evaluation, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting product schematics.
  • Capability to safely lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Skilled in using basic hand tools.
  • Familiarity with Arena and Jira software.
  • Knowledge of CAD/SolidWorks is advantageous.
  • In-depth understanding of Nextracker products is highly preferred.

  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and learn swiftly.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills to manage customer feedback and provide solutions.
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in product evaluation and quality assurance.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols in all testing and construction activities.
