Ultrasound Technologist Level I

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist Level I to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
- Prepare and position patients for examinations.
- Select equipment and transducers for use in ultrasound setup.
- Start equipment and record diagnostic data.
- Monitor quality of ultrasonic patterns and adjust equipment controls as needed.
- Photograph images of organs and maintain records of test results.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of experience in ultrasound technology or related field preferred.
