Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to perform physicals for insurance companies, home blood draws, and corporate wellness screenings. As a Mobile Phlebotomist/Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for traveling to specified locations to draw blood samples and maintaining accurate patient records.
Responsibilities- Perform physicals for insurance companies, home blood draws, and corporate wellness screenings
- Travel to specified locations to draw blood samples
- Maintain accurate patient records, including detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures
- Be able to obtain vital signs
- Have reliable transportation (with proof of insurance and valid driver's license)
- Have a cell phone, valid email address, fax and/or scanner, computer
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Education Preferred: Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate
- Experience in phlebotomy
- Medical terminology
- The ability to take accurate vital signs
- Record accurate medical history
- EKG experience is preferred, but not required
- Proficient in phlebotomy with at least 100 successful venipuncture in the last 1 year
- Legible handwriting, and familiar with medical terminology
- Knowledge and ability to prepare specimens for transport
- Ability to perform an EKG, and familiar with HIPAA rules and regulations
- Outgoing personality, ability to provide meticulous attention to detail, dependability, and willingness to learn
- Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work with no supervision
