Job Title: Senior Maintenance Manager

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations at our commercial baking facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our plant, while driving continuous improvement and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee maintenance operations, including planning, execution, and control of maintenance activities.
  • Analyze and solve technical maintenance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
  • Lead the achievement of a zero-injury workplace, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations on environmental, health, and safety issues.
  • Manage and develop plant maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
  • Implement systems to ensure products are manufactured in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner.
  • Build a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and professionalism, demonstrating active support for the Company's culture.
  • Understand, coach, and teach the principles of BBU Continuous Improvement, including lean tools, process capability, and operational discipline.
  • Identify, implement, and manage capital improvement projects.
  • Conduct performance appraisals of the Maintenance management team, recommending and/or implementing appropriate training programs to address developmental needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Ten or more years of hands-on management experience in maintenance and engineering leading medium to large-size food plants.
  • Operational background in electrical circuitry, refrigeration, fuel burning equipment, and machine mechanics.
  • Conceptual knowledge of PLC programming; PLC programming experience preferred.
  • AIB certification preferred.
