About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled VDC Detailer to join our team at Catapult Staffing. As a VDC Detailer, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality fabrication spool drawings, detailed rack drawings, and CAD files for our CNC machine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create files in BobCad for the CNC machines
  • Design and create underground spacers for underground conduit packages
  • Produce as-built drawings from project teams
  • Create cut lists for steel products
  • Design rack drawings
  • Participate in project builds and collaborate with project teams
  • Attend meetings with the PreFab group and project teams
  • Produce fabrication spool drawings
  • Utilize BIM software to model electrical systems
  • Review job specifications and drawings
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work attitude
  • Team player with the ability to relate well with employees and superiors
  • Must be detail-oriented and have good organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Self-driven with a desire to learn and grow
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and familiarity with Excel, Word, and Google platforms
  • Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, or other BIM software experience (preferred)
