Aldridge Electric is seeking a highly skilled VDC Detailer to join our team. As a VDC Detailer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabrication spool drawings, detailed rack drawings, and CAD files for our CNC machine.
Key Responsibilities- Create files in BobCad for the CNC machines
- Design underground spacers for underground conduit packages
- Produce fabrication spool drawings
- Utilize BIM software to model electrical systems
- Read job specifications and drawings
- Excellent communication skills and work attitude
- Team player, relates well with employees and superiors
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must have good organization skills and time management skills
- Ability to perform well and meet expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Self-driven with desire to learn
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Google platforms
- Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks or any other BIM software (preferred)
