Join Dahl Consulting as a Packaging Production Designer

We are partnering with a leading retail company to find a skilled Packaging Production Designer for a contract position. As a Packaging Production Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing brand-relevant solutions for new packaging formats and categories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with partners to create innovative packaging designs that meet brand standards.
  • Develop presentation decks, mock-ups, and other materials to support approval moments.
  • Present design concepts and creative work to packaging partners.
  • Work closely with global teams to execute production files.
  • Interpret feedback and design critique to make timely updates to work in progress.
  • Manage assets, maintain and update standards, toolkits, and support documentation.
  • Proof vendor-produced artwork to ensure integrity and consistency to brand standards.
  • Organize and plan details for multiple projects to meet project deadlines.
  • Balance competing priorities and provide expertise in key software applications and execution techniques.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Fundamental design skills with the ability to receive and interpret design direction with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under high pressure/stressful situations while maintaining professionalism.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of MAC applications and Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Comfort with online collaboration tools like Zoom, Teams, Miro, Slack, Conceptboard.

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months. The worksite location is Minneapolis, MN, with a hybrid schedule of 1 day per week (Wednesdays). The compensation is $45.00-$50.00 per hour.
