Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Norfolk, Virginia.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform non-invasive ultrasound examinations and provide quality patient care in a professional manner.

Responsibilities
  • Perform non-invasive ultrasound examinations, demonstrating the skills and knowledge to assess technical data reflective of patient status relative to age and specific needs.
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
  • Active ARDMS certification required.
  • Must have 18 months of working experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
