Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams using advanced equipment and techniques
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in diagnostic medical sonography and adhere to industry standards and guidelines
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • ARDMS National Certification and state-specific licensing when required
  • BLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
