Housekeeper - Cleaning and Maintenance Professional

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at StoryPoint. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residents' apartments and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all areas as assigned, adhering to departmental standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in assigned areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents.
  • Operate various cleaning equipment and machinery, including buffers, extraction equipment, and commercial laundry equipment.
  • Perform laundry duties in our commercial laundry facilities, ensuring all linens and uniforms are clean and pressed.
  • Report any supply or equipment needs to the supervisor for replenishment.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping Lead to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • High school diploma and/or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing for long periods of time and the ability to read, write, and speak fluent English. The work environment is moderate, with occasional travel to different locations.
