We are seeking a Lead MuleSoft Engineer who possesses a strong ability to mentor and guide junior team members on technical issues while also advising the organization on integration-related technical matters.

Key Qualifications:

1) The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in integration, with a significant focus on MuleSoft, ideally within the group benefits sector (e.g., CVS, Caremark, Aetna, BCBS, etc.).

2) A demonstrated history of serving as a technical lead, providing mentorship and direction to junior engineers and business analysts on API and MuleSoft integration matters is essential.

3) Cultural fit is crucial; we need someone who can assertively provide feedback and support the Director effectively, balancing leadership with hands-on development (50% leadership, 50% development).

Position Overview:

Our client in the insurance sector is in search of a contract-to-hire Integration Lead to expand their team. MuleSoft serves as their primary integration platform. This team operates like a start-up and has been active for two years, pioneering initiatives in digital modernization within Workforce Benefits (including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance). They are committed to a digital-first approach with their new workforce benefits product, focusing exclusively on API integration development. Currently, the team comprises two engineers, a business analyst, an architect, and various consultants.
