About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cancer Treatment Specialist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering external beam radiation therapy in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from Radiation Oncology physicians and Medical Radiation Physicists.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will accurately and safely deliver prescribed planned courses of radiation therapy per department procedures.
  • Observe patients for unusual physical and psychological reactions and report all observations/events immediately to the Clinical Nurse Specialist and/or Radiation Oncology physician.
  • Maintain daily treatment schedules and work cooperatively with physicians, physics staff, and front office staff for scheduling treatment times, simulations, and diagnostic studies.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Technology program and board eligible, with registration to sit for next board exam given and two consecutive trials to pass before being considered for dismissal.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy and certified as a Radiation Therapist by the State of Washington.
  • AIDS certification for health care workers (7 hours).
  • CPR certification.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
