The Director of Hospital Operations is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the hospital's operations, patient flow, and nursing resources. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in nursing operations, hospital capacity management, and shared nursing resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and reduce wait times
  • Oversee the hospital's staffing operations, including the development of staffing standards and the management of nursing resources
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and implement quality and safety initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards
  • Develop and maintain a 24/7 Patient Flow Command Center to monitor and manage patient flow
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in nursing operations, hospital capacity management, and shared nursing resources
  • Current MD or eNLC state RN License
  • National Cert. within 1 year of hire
