Position Overview:

Soliant is looking for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a school environment. The SLP will play a critical role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with various speech and language challenges, ultimately supporting their educational and social development.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders among students.
  • Create and execute personalized therapy plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Deliver therapy sessions to students, both in one-on-one and group formats.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and school personnel to promote students' communication skills and learning objectives.
  • Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, aiding in the formulation and assessment of tailored goals for students.
  • Track and document student progress, making necessary modifications to therapy plans as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current SLP license or certification in the state of Minnesota.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school-based setting is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
