Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Armstrong, MN. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders, aiming to enhance their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication and learning goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the creation and review of student-specific goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP license or certification in Minnesota.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
