The successful candidate will oversee logistics management tasks, which encompass planning, coordinating, and assessing the logistical requirements essential for designated missions. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to logistical regulations and collaborating with relevant personnel to execute operations as directed. The role involves supporting the comprehensive logistics lifecycle for assigned tasks, integrating various functions such as supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into cohesive logistics operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside Government representatives to conduct scheduled inventories, investigating inventory discrepancies, and reporting findings for resolution.
  • Collaborating with fleet management to ensure timely repair and service of vehicles, maintaining accurate fleet accountability.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports related to logistics status and inspections.
  • Participating in logistics inspections concerning various programs and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications:

Essential:
- A minimum of 6 years of operational experience as a US Army Logistics Specialist (92A, 92Y, or 90A).
- An Honorable discharge from military service is required.
- Familiarity with the Army Command Supply Discipline Program (CDSP), Manager's Internal Control Program (MICP), Organizational Inspection Program (OIP), Logistics Status (LOGSTAT), and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) reporting.
- A Bachelor's Degree is necessary; four years of additional relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- An Interim Secret or final Secret clearance is mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
