Pulmonary Care Specialist

As a Pulmonary Care Specialist at Christus Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to critically ill patients. Your expertise will include airway management, ventilator management, and oxygen delivery devices. You will work closely with physicians to develop and implement respiratory care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to critically ill patients, including airway management and ventilator management
  • Develop and implement respiratory care plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Monitor and maintain oxygen delivery devices and therapeutic monitoring
  • Participate in CAP and JC surveys
  • Assist with advanced practice skills, including therapeutic gas management and monitoring
Requirements:
  • RCP License in the state of employment
  • CRT through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • ACLS certification
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred
