Job Title: Farm Bill Biologist

Pheasants Forever is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Bill Biologist to join our team in Ohio. As a Farm Bill Biologist, you will play a critical role in promoting and accelerating enrollment in conservation programs that benefit wildlife and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to private landowners on conservation practices and programs.
  • Work with partner agencies to implement Farm Bill Conservation Programs, such as CRP, EQIP, and WRE.
  • Conduct on-site field visits to provide habitat restoration and management recommendations.
  • Assist with wildlife habitat evaluation guides, program applications, and other technical documentation.
  • Establish and maintain trusted working relationships with landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in wildlife management, natural resource management, or a related field.
  • 1 year of practical experience with wildlife management, private lands technical assistance, and landowner outreach.
  • Knowledge of conservation practices, wildlife ecology, and habitat management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
