POSITION SUMMARY

As a Material Processing Technician at Rust-Oleum Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our paint manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the filling lines to fulfill both internal and external customer requirements while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and materials.

In this role, you can expect to:
  • Accurately weigh or measure raw materials and ingredients to meet production standards.
  • Conduct tests on samples to verify compliance with quality specifications using appropriate testing equipment.
  • Initiate machinery to mix or blend components, adhering to specified timeframes for optimal results.
  • Operate blending equipment to combine a diverse range of materials, including chemicals and color pigments.
  • Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Cease mixing operations once product quality standards are achieved, and manage the transfer of mixtures.
  • Load necessary chemicals and ingredients for processing using hand tools or machinery.
  • Visually inspect materials and products to ensure they meet established quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Certification as a forklift operator is required.
  • Experience with raw materials and mixing equipment is advantageous.
