About the Role

The Client is a renowned leader in genetic engineering and biopharmaceuticals, with a legacy of innovation in treating complex diseases. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated laboratory researcher to contribute to the discovery of groundbreaking therapeutics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the discovery of new therapeutics by supporting the primary research of internal customers.
  • Process samples in the laboratory, both manually and via laboratory robotics.
  • Analyze and perform quality control of genetic data.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance research capabilities.
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of PCR, quantitative/real-time PCR (TaqMan; 5' nuclease assay), and other nucleic acid amplification and detection techniques.
  • Ability to create basic PCR and qPCR assays.
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate dynamic research needs.
  • Functional knowledge of routine mammalian genetic constructs used in genome engineering, such as conditional knock-out models employing the Cre-Lox system, is a plus.
