About the Role
The Molecular Biology department at ICONMA seeks a highly motivated laboratory researcher to assist in the discovery of groundbreaking therapeutics. As a Research Associate, you will support the primary research of several hundred internal customers by processing samples in the laboratory, analyzing and performing quality control of genetic data, and helping to evaluate and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities
* Process laboratory samples manually and via laboratory robotics
* Analyze and perform quality control of genetic data
* Evaluate and implement new technologies to support research efforts

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or engineering
* 1-2 years' job experience in an academic or industrial research laboratory
* Basic understanding of PCR, quantitative/real-time PCR, and other nucleic acid amplification and detection techniques
* High attention to detail and effective communication skills
* Flexible schedule to meet research needs

Preferred Qualifications
* Functional knowledge of routine mammalian genetic constructs used in genome engineering, such as conditional knock-out models employing the Cre-Lox system
