Job Title: Cardiac Observation Area Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Observation Area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary

The Cardiac Observation Area Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized patient care plans. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that patients' needs are met and that care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Document patients' progress and care plans in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
  • BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
