Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Newport Healthcare is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the setup and movement of equipment and furniture as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and to Newport Healthcare standards.
- Maintain professional working relationships with contractors and vendors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two plus years' experience in facilities maintenance.
- Working knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary range: $27.50 per hour based on education and experience.
