Laboratory Manager

Job Overview:

The Laboratory Manager will oversee the operations of the research laboratory, taking charge of both the management and execution of scientific research initiatives. The primary focus of the laboratory is on stress responses, particularly in relation to DNA damage and the mechanochemistry of DNA-based motors. The lab employs a variety of biochemical, biophysical, and structural methodologies, including X-ray crystallography and electron microscopy.

This is a fixed-term role.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 3-5 years of laboratory or research experience.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in a related field.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in structural biology, biophysical characterization, and biochemistry is preferred.
