Supplier Partnership Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Partnership Manager to join our team at SRS Distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with existing and potential vendors, negotiating financial components, and participating in the development of marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage relationships with existing and potential vendors to determine strategic value to the organization.
• Conduct annual strategic partner evaluations to determine rationalization of vendors and SKUs.
• Negotiate financial components, including price, rebate, payment terms, prepaid freight, and marketing allowances with vendors.
• Participate in providing market data and insights to assist the centralized pricing team in determining selling prices at a market level.
• Involved in the development of marketing materials, such as catalogs, sales sheets, branding, and logo development.
• Provide product and sales training to field sales staff and participate in trade shows to promote the sales of the category.
• Review sales, margin, and gross profit dollars on a weekly basis to determine opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with inventory management to ensure inventory levels are equitable to overall profitability.
• Set up multiple sources of supply to ensure availability and set up regional sources of supply when needed.
• Understand global supply and raw material impact on pricing trends and evaluate the impact of all applicable laws governing imports to ensure compliance.

• Strong negotiation skills
• Professional image, presentation, and communications skills
• Strong analytics skills, including use of reporting suites
• Adherence to high ethical standards
• Product and industry knowledge highly desirable
• Understanding of international logistics highly desirable
• Understanding of import duties highly desirable
