About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team as a Program Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion plan to promote a culture of inclusivity and respect within the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address systemic barriers to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Provide training and education to employees on diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices.
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
  • At least three years of experience as a professional psychologist, with at least one year of experience at the GS-13 grade level.
  • Ability to organize work, set priorities, delegate tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize evidence-based practices and clinical practice guidelines appropriately.
  • Ability to deal effectively with individuals or groups representing widely divergent backgrounds, interests, and points of view.
