About the Role

The Oncology Nurse Navigator is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing expert guidance and support to patients and their families throughout the cancer journey.

This role requires a strong understanding of cancer treatment options, as well as the emotional and financial impact of a cancer diagnosis.

The Nurse Navigator will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans, address physical, psychological, and social needs, and provide education and resources to empower patients to take an active role in their care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive patient education and support
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Addressing patient concerns and providing emotional support
  • Facilitating access to community resources and services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current RN licensure in Oregon
  • 3+ years of oncology experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of cancer treatment options and resources
